The Monkey Gland

The Monkey Gland takes its name after a salty popular tune from the 1920s by the Memphis Melody Boys. (Think Viagra, only with an implant operation using, yes, you guessed it.) Haigh notes that the drink originated in Harry’s New York Bar in Paris, the drinking spot de rigueur for America expats and tourists on drinking holidays.
