Ingredients
Base Ingredients
- 10 ounces vodka
- 5 ounces glycerin
- 5 ounces water
Bittering Agent
- ½ teaspoon gentian root chunks
Aromatics
- 2 ounces dried orange peel
- 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
- 1 tablespoon whole black peppercorns
- 6 kaffir lime leaves
- 6 additional citrus leaves such as orange, lemon or lime)
- Zest from 6 limes
- Zest from 6 lemons
Preparation
Add all the ingredients to a container and cover. Store in a cool, dry place for 2 weeks. Strain through a coffee filter into a clean container. Covered tightly with a lid, bitters will keep indefinitely.
