Why We Love It: Everything is a classic here: the atmosphere (plenty of dark wood, tile floor), the clientele (a how’s-ya-mama-and-dem New Orleans crowd), the seasoned waiters, the sizzling-hot steak platters. All of these things are reason enough to love this Garden District steakhouse, but the reason locals take up nightly residency here are the no-frills steaks cooked to perfection by pros who have been at it long enough to do the job blindfolded.
