Third Annual Huey P. Long Birthday Celebration and Look-a-Like Contest
Kingfish Kitchen and Cocktails is honoring the life and legacy of one of Louisiana's most influential and controversial political figures, Huey P. Long (1893-1935), with a special "1893 Menu." In honor of the birth year of the Kingfish, the prix fixe menu includes three courses for $18.93, a portion of the proceeds will benefit The Historic New Orleans Collection. The promotion coincides with THNOC's exhibition "From Winnfield to Washington: The Life and Career of Huey P. Long.” The exhibition can be viewed at 533 Royal Street through October 11, 2015. Admission is free.
