Paired Craft Beer Dinner
New Orleans’ Grand Isle Restaurant will partner with Mississippi-based beer makers Chandeleur Island Brewing Company and Louisiana-based vegetable growers Covey Rise Farms for a five-course dinner created by Executive Chef Ryan Haigler.
Focusing on craft beers and local produce, the event will begin at 7pm, taking place in the restaurant’s recently updated private dining area. The all-inclusive menu is as follows:
First Course
BBQ Shrimp Salad
- Frisee, Shaved Farm Vegetables, LA BBQ Vinaigrette, & Crystal Hot Sauce Popcorn

Second Course
Cured Spice Rubbed Venison Carpaccio
- Kumquat, Marcona Almond, & Radicchio Salad with Pickled Garlic & Fresno Caramel
Paired with: Lil Smack IPA
Third Course
Crawtator Crusted Drum
- Crawfish and Cauliflower Salad, Smoked LA Shallot Aioli, Plaquemines Parish Citrus, and Radish
Paired with: Surfside Pineapple Wheat
Fourth Course
Bourbon Braised Beef Cheeks
- Satsuma Glazed Baby Carrots & Escarole in Ham Butter
Paired with: Nervous Waters Barrel Aged
Fifth Course
Blood Orange Caramelized Honey Pie
- Blood Orange Chantilly & Honey Crisp
Paired with: Imperial Vanilla Brown
