Orange Festival

The Plaquemines Parish Fair and Orange Festival will take place December 4-6, 2015, at the historic Fort Jackson in Buras. All three days will feature carnival with rides and games, while Saturday and Sunday will also host a fun-filled music festival.

Attendees will enjoy the variety of food-related contests, including shrimp peeling, oyster shucking, orange eating, and more. Meanwhile, the planned music line-up features Remedy, Big River Band, and Groovy 7. A 5K Walk/Run will take place on Saturday at 8am.
